Two ways in

Who is this for?

We are shaping a publishing space with two distinct pathways, with print on demand as an option to explore.

01

Young people
who write

A pathway for work written by young people. A story, a play, a collection of poems or something that doesn't fit neatly into a category.

The aim is a small, carefully selected catalogue with young voices at its heart. Authors bring completed, print-ready work; we publish agreed titles, arrange printing and promote them.

02

Authors writing
for young people

A pathway for authors whose work is intended for school-age readers or performers.

The focus is on the work and the young people it is written for, whether they are reading quietly or bringing a script to life.

And room for schools, too.

A class anthology or a shared writing project could belong here. This is a possibility to develop with schools, not an existing programme.

Now I Know

When a dead body and a bloody conscience collide, the truth becomes much harder to ignore.

Centred on Lynette and her father, Edward, Now I Know explores what happens when people disagree about what should be done with the truth, whether people deserve to know it, and what happens when telling it may cause even more damage.

Written for two performers playing multiple characters, it combines dark humour, mystery and moral questions in a fast-moving contemporary script.

A space of its own

Part of Dynamic Education.
A different chapter.

This publishing space is being developed separately from Dynamic Education's health and professional education work, with young writers and school-age readers in mind.

Our aim is a distinctive, niche publishing identity for work by and for young people, including readers and performers in schools. The catalogue will be selective, not an open printing service.

Expressions of interest

Interested in publishing with Dynamic Education? Start with a brief email about the work and who it is for. For authors under 18, a parent or legal guardian should make the enquiry.

admin@dynamiced.au

An expression of interest is not a final submission. Please do not send manuscripts, print files or a child's personal details at this stage.

How the publishing would work

Your finished work.
Our publishing focus.

We are developing a selective publishing space, not a full writing, editing or design service. Authors supply completed, print-ready interior and cover files using Canva or another suitable tool. Writing, editing, proofreading, layout, design and rights clearances are the author's responsibility, with a parent or guardian involved for under-18s. We publish agreed work, arrange printing and promote it under a separate written agreement. Promotion is not a promise of sales or reach.

Printer requirements will be confirmed once the provider and book specifications are chosen. A basic file check is not editing or proofreading. Authors supply any file corrections, and final proofs and costs must be approved by the responsible adult before printing.

If accepted for publication, the author retains copyright and ownership of the work and grants only the publishing and promotion permissions agreed in writing. The book will carry the credit "Published by Dynamic Education", with placement agreed before final proof approval. An expression of interest does not grant publication rights.

Print when a copy is ordered

Print on demand means copies are produced when ordered, rather than printing a batch in advance. The printer, payment and fulfilment arrangements are still to be decided. Setup or preparation costs may apply if quoted and agreed; this does not mean free production or automatic shipping.

Or arrange a batch to hold

If you would like us to arrange printing and hold copies, there will be an upfront quoted printing fee before the print order is placed. It depends on the book, quantity, printer and freight.

Stock ownership, storage period, unsold copies, returns, damage, freight and sales income arrangements need written agreement. Any other proposed charge must be separately itemised and approved. We are not offering an editorial or design service. No printing is ordered until the responsible adult approves the proof and accepts the written quote. Cancellation, correction and refund arrangements must respect applicable legal rights.
